I had the pleasure of taking care of David's van here in Bartow fl. He was a pleasure to have around the shop and just an all around great person. I love being able to sit and chat with him about all his many different things he had done in his life. He will be very missed.

Unfortunately, my natural father and I didn't get to meet until I was 21 (my mother had remarried and her husband had adopted me). But, we had written letters off and on since we met in 1986. I think he was a fine man who served his country honorably during the Vietnam war. We had talked several times since 1986 about getting together again, but, there always seemed to be other issues for one of us at each of those times. It is regrettable that circumstances didn't allow us to get to know each other better during our lives, but, he DID share with me an unshakeable faith in God. I know WHERE he is now and WHO he's with now. I'd like to thank Mr. Pulliam for the nice column --he's done a wonderful job.

KWe spent so many good times over the years with Dave and Carol at Sunday School events, riding motorcycles, cook-outs, etc. Dave was such a loving, caring person who would do anything for his friends. I remember Dave as devoted husband to the love of his life, Carol.I'm grateful for the memories and am happy that Dave rests in the arms of his loving God.

So sorry to learn of David's passing. He was an ol buddy of mine in school. Simple life and good times then. May he rest in peace with our Lord in Heaven, and blessing to the loved ones he left to carry on.
